Replacement doorhandle springs

I have a number of broken springs on Smith and Locke door handles.

There seem to be a few replacement springs out there with various dimensions.

The springs on my handles are 2mm thick but there are some replacement 2.5mm thick ones that supposedly replace 1.8mm, 2mm and 2.5mm originals.

Does anyone know if these 2.5mm springs are ok as replacements for 2mm thick ones?

All other dimensions and hook positions seem fine.
