Hi, we have the above supplying all hot water in 1930s semi, it was installed in around 1995.
Any advice on how long such a unit might last and what are the alternatives when it does need replacing? It is located above the bath. I understand that electrical regs may now mean we could not have a replacement unit put in the same place (??). Will this mean a huge bill as lots of work to re-engineer the pipework down through to kitchen etc? What kind of solutions might work?
