Replacement under cupboard strip light

I have a linolite slimline 221 mm strip light that won’t work. The wiring to it is behind the tiles, so I am going to buy a new unit and hope that is the problem.
We have a double switch in the kitchen. One switch is for the main light and the other switch is for the 2 under cupboard strip lights.
Can you tell me what I need to replace the strip light (unswitched Skelton? Single switch? Double switch?)
