Yes as long as the driver you have is earthed then all will be fine.

Replacing 12v transformers with LED drivers

I personally would send that driver back, and if you can the lamps.
Then you have three options
1) rip out the transformers entirely and convert fittings to 230V GU10 base lamps then no need for driver at all
2) put it all back and buy Philips LED lamps which will work with any transformer, regardless of minimum loading
3) buy some decent drivers from a reputable brand
try http://www.alertelectrical.com/prod/274/aurora-6w-350ma-constant-current-led-driver (they make bigger/smaller ones depending on your needs
