replacing 2 port motorised valve

having to replace my 2 port valve as it's a bit FUBAR'd (replacing a honeywell with a drayton MA1). Really daft question but wanted to check before I swap out - I assume the A & B markings on the body are constant whatever the manufacturer?? So A = CH and B = hot water??

I'm assuming it's a standard but thought I'd better check...
