Hi Everyone.

I was hoping to get some confirmation about the wiring changes required to replace my CentaurPlus C17 with the Drayton Wiser Heat Hub. It will be used to control my Worcester 28CDi boiler. This is the backplate for the C17:

The manual for the C17 indicates that 2 is Common, 4 is On:

The Wiser Heat Hub suggests that I need to move 2 to 1 and 4 to 3:

Would that be correct?

Thanks for reading! Any replies appreciated :)

That's the idea. The terminals are labelled as to what they are, so:

Blue wires in C17 (N) = Wiser (N)

Brown and Red wires in C17 (L) = Wiser (L)

Black wire in C17 'Com' (2) = Wiser 'Com' (1)

Black wire in C17 'On' (4) = Wiser 'On' (3)

The C17 is a just a timeswitch, so if you have an existing room thermostat as well somewhere, that will either need to be set to its maximum setting so that it doesn't interfere with the operation of the Wiser. Or, disconnected and a small wiring modification made to complete the circuit. It can't just be disconnected as the system would be left open circuit and the heating will not operate.
