I need to replace a radiator in my bathroom but both the inlet and outlet pipes go into one end of the radiator. Does anyone know how I can replace this with a new radiator keeping both inlet and outlet in the one end? :?

turn off valve
drain the rad
undo the valve
remove the tail from the rad
screw it into new one
replace valve
open valve
bleed
bob's your wotsit

Do you know if you can buy new valve if the old one is knackered when I take it out?

If you mean both pipes go to the one valve then you will have to alter pipework to either side as none of the modern rads will take the insertion tube that allows the heated water to enter the rad, Kev looked at link danfoss dont mention insertion tube can`t see how valve would work without one as water would take easiest path and just go back up return
