Hi all,

I've got a standard lamp with a broken fitting: the whole bayonet bit has smashed. It's a T1 1A rated fitting. I've read on the various bits of this forum/the Web that they are different ratings (T1 = 60W and T2 = 100W) and I honestly don't care which I fit because we only use equivalent-60W bulbs max. in there anyway. Now, all I can find in Wilko and B&Q are T2 2A fittings: is this alright to fit to it? Or is it worth me going to my semi-local decent independent hardware store and asking for a T1, or finding one online if that fails?

Ta :)
