Replacing a UVPC window hinge

How easy is it to do ?

After you have removed the hinge, is the other hinge strong enough to hold the window whilst you fit the new hinge ?

I should imagine it is but would just like your opinion.

Unfortunately nowhere near strong enough, you need to remove the sash completely and fit them that way
