I have a sealed combi boiler system, and I would like to replace the whole bathroom suite and the radiator.
I keep reading that I should seek specialist help in draining down the system. I have drained an open system many times before, and removed rads for decorating and was thinking there can not be a great deal of difference, apart from the pressurization factor.
Once i have drained down the system I wish to remove radiators and put inline ball stop valves in the main Hot & Cold water lines to bathroom fittings.
Please Help

Not a lot of difference, turn off water and boiler.

Drain down and do your work. Make sure you know how to refill your boiler to correct pressure.

Good luck and post back if you need to. :D

If your new radiator's the same size as the old one why drain system at all?
