I will be reaplacing batteries in my premeir elite alarm system including backup battery and this year i’ll be replacing the battery in the bell box (wired not wireless) as its fours years since it was installed. I still need to order the battery for the bell box. Can anyone advise on what milliamps i should get? They range from 250ma upwards. I’ve noted theres extended life batterie's on the market? Are these worth the extra cost

usually don’t need to replace the batteries in the hard wired bell box for a very very long time.

Why do you think the bell box batteries need replacing ????

I thought these needed replacing every four to five years. I must be mistaken? What life span do they normally have?

Depends on the bell box, seen some that have been down powered for years and still work when powered up for 24 hrs and reliably so.

So do the test above as a starting point, but some people haven't put the battery jumper to on, so if it doesnt work you cn try the battery jumper first
