What exactly will I need to do electrically to properly install free standing stove after removing the built in I have? The built in has romex cable and no outlet box but is on separate circuit w/ dryer. I assume I need an outlet box for new stove...is it standard outlet or 240? w/ 3 or 4 prongs?

Free standing ovens should be connected to a seperate circuit from your consumer unit via a double pole cooker control unit (generally a big red switch with or without an attendant 13A socket).

UK are 240V and usually wired in 6 or 10mm2 twin and earth cable. (depends on power rating of oven) from a 35 or 40A fuse/circuit breaker.

Most kitchens have this circuit already in (cooker connection point usually behind the existing oven)
