replacing ceiling roses with JBs

Hi, I would like to install 2 x 35w mains downlighters (GU10) in all four of the upstairs bedrooms. At present there is just the single ceiling rose in each room. Do I simply replace this ceilng rose with a 20a junction box and run .75mm 2 core flex to the 2 downlights from the JB or should these downlighters be wired on "a run" from each other? I have full access to the loft above.
(House was built in 1991.)

Any help would be great.
