Replacing Danfoss RMT230 with Honeywell ST9400C

Hi all...

Having just moved in I want to replace the standard Thermostate (the RMT230) with the Honeywell ST9400C as I already have a new unused ST9400C.

I've searched around to try and confirm the wiring of the ST9400C, but not being in the trade I am not sure, so hope that you good people can help.

The Wiring on the Danfoss RMT 230 is as follows:

Terminal 4 - Blue
Terminal 5 - Empty
Terminal 1 - Yellow
Terminal 2 - Empty
Terminal 3 - Red

There are only the 3 wires coming out of the wall...

But the ST9400C is not a thermostat, it is a programmer (timer)!

oops, quite right, serves me right for just trying to use what I had, without actually thinking about it!
