Gardtec 370 works perfectly after 20 years. I am replacing the very weathered bell box to improve visual deterrent. I’ve bought the Texecom odyssey and just wanted advice on disarming the existing bell box and tamper to allow me to replace it.
I have the engineers code and Gardtec manual but it isn’t obvious. Help appreciated

put in engineer mode, remove bell +ve from control panel to avoid shorting anything out, stick your ear defenders on and rip old bell down, fit new one with colours like for like. Then reconnect and reset

Thanks both.

I assumed engineer mode might prevent the siren sounding when I remove the cover of the bell box, but clearly not.

I did wonder whether I can set the bell time to 0 minutes to prevent this too?
