I have a Grohe Ambi tap which I want to install. What do I need to do. Do I need an adapter?
I have added a photo in my pipes album. The current tap has copper piping that narrows near the worktop.
The new tap has the bendy hot and cold pipes.
So presumably I need to remove the top part of the copper piping and attach the bendy pipes. Do I need to have adapters or do you think it is already the correct size. I think the current tap is a german tap.
Thanks for your advice

The last Grohe I fitted had 3/8" connections, and so needed 3/8 to 15mm compression fittings to adapt it to UK pipework. The bore of the flexi hoses was tiny so the flow rate out of it was pants

I have found my current tap installation document.
It is a Blancoeye bm/5300.
There is a brass fitting with backflow prevention valve.
Do I need to remove/replace that?
