Hi (it's me again)!

Got to a job where the client wants a new fuse board as they have an old wylex one with 3036 fuses. There was no problem with the board - just needed screwing back properly and tails/ earthing upgraded. Explained to the client that there is nothing wrong with the c/u and it would save him money if he just did the upgrades as nec. I asked him what the reason behind the c/u change was and he has arthritis - so I suggested replacing all mcbs to 60898's. I have tested all circuits I have worked on but not sure if I have to do a full test on all circuits? Thanks

Apologies - ignore the question - I was not thinking. I do have to do a test to ensure it meets disconnection times! Doh!!!

Does the 3036 C/U have a wooden back section on it or is it all insulating plastic?, most of the ones i have come across have been the very old wooden back variety. If so then would be good practice to recomend a new C/U.
