Replacing old batten light with LED - wiring strange?

Hey folks, I have taken off the old kitchen light, and took a photo of the cabling (attached). As well as a picture of all the cabling hanging down.

The new led batten light just has a blue and brown.

I've connected the blue to the single black wire
I've connected the brown to the group(4) of red wires.

Terminated the earth with a choc block
Terminated the block of black loop wires to choc block.

But no light power?

Any advice always welcome!

The new is connected the same way as the old.

Line is the single black
Neutral is the other black wires.
The reds are the permanent line and connect to themselves only, as it was in the old fitting.

Mark that single black somehow if you loose it you'll have a bigger headache on your hands.

Ah! Got it! I thought the group of black was the permanent line but it's the reds! I see!

@flameport Done this, it turns on then flickers and turns off again.

Will check for loose wire connection

Ooh I tell a lie! There are 3 light switches in the kitchen that control the main light, and two of them the light works fine! Must have a dodgy connection on the other light switch, will check it!
