Replacing outdoor light

couldnt resist drawing some pics..

you need to just ensure your cables PVC sheath is stripped back so that the wires are clamped down by the screws ..

and the electrical connection is made by the screws themselves (as part of the metal connection) and by the metal tube they are being pressed against.

You've been to the kitchen fitters annual convention or the guild of master jobbing builders then? :LOL:


(I just found a buttress/pillar for an end gable that's got no bricks at the bottom any more courtesy of a kitchen fitter. On top of a purlin with a 2 foot chunk removed to make way for the ladder to a loft conversion I found yesterday. The mind f**king boggles. At least the DIYers aren't afraid or ashamed to ask when they haven't a clue!)
