Replacing Scantronic 9448+ (old) with 9448+ (newer model)

We have an old style Scantronic 9448+ burglar alarm with 2 entry and 2 PIR. Some of the buttons are no longer responsive - I have tried removing and cleaning the control button pad as suggested on another thread on here, which improved the performance briefly, but now cannot be relied on.

We noticed the Eaton Scantronic 9448+ online. Is it relatively easy to swap (DIY, not an electrician!)? Is it as simple as transferring the wires from the old circuit board to the exact connectors on the new alarm (then programming it following the engineer set up)? Obviously switching the power completely off and disconnecting the battery, but is there anything else I need to be aware of?

I am just seeing how difficult it is before attempting the job. I attach old and new - I see there is an additional light with an unlock at the bottom of the new one.

Thank you

Thank you. Second daft question, do I need to disconnect the backup battery inside the bell box, as I assume it may go off if I disconnect bell box from the circuit board/the power and the battery inside the alarm panel? (though may not as it is probably dead after this many years without replacement!).

I normally don’t on upgrades , disconnect everything apart from bell , power down swop over panel and reconnect bell + and 0v first it only takes a few minutes ..
