Hi There,

I currently have an unbranded "ZL-2061-01" fitted: https://theunderfloorheatingsite.co...ble-3-amp-room-stat-with-air-sensor-in-white/

It has 3 wires

I'm replacing this with a MOES "WHT-009-GA-BK-EN"

The MOES has 4 wire connections:

I checked the settings on the current ZL-2061 thermostat and under the operation mode it's set as NC
(https://theunderfloorheatingsite.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/ZL-2061-01-tufhs.pdf)

So I placed the L1 wire into the #1 contact as per the picture above, but I don't think it's doing anything... for a moment I thought it's working inversely, so when the SET TEMP is LOWER than the current ROOM temp, it's coming on and when set temp is higher than current room temp it turned off.... but not convinced. I'm more inclined to believe it's doing nothing at the moment

I have a water heating/under floor heating only setup. No direct electric heating, no gas, no radiators etc etc

Would anyone happen to know how I should wire this? I've currently put back the 'old' ZL thermostat as started second guessing myself etc and wanted to try and find the correct info before re-attempting it.

Obv the N and L are fine, it's the 3rd "L1" wire that I'm not sure how to correctly connect up to the MOES Thermostat.

Many thanks in advance

You've only got one other choice!
Try the L1 (black oversleeved brown) wire into terminal two, and see what happens?

...although given the information provided, it does look like it should be connected to terminal 1 - but, there's no harm trying the above.

Yeah, I started second guessing myself and was getting worried something might go bang .

How can I be sure it's doing something?

heating/plumbing stuff is one of my "weak" spots where I lack knowledge. I can barely make out the flow meter things so can never tell what's happening anyways :-/
