My bathroom has a rather dated looking light above a rather dated looking mirror. My plan is to replace both with one of those fancy mirror/lights of some description. I've had a look and the wiring is simple. What I'm not sure about is the legislation, I know kitchens and bathrooms are different. Is changing an existing fitting notifiable (under section P or whatever), or is it only notifiable if I were to add something completely new?

In any case I'm having some more extensive work done soon so I might get it checked anyway.

Thanks.
