I have a cistern water tank that has only been in the ground for about 9 years and I am not using it anymore. A friend is needing a temp. cistern. Is it okay to sell it to him?

Provided you plead the 5th  ...Haven`t got a scooby M8, this is a UK site and it`s All Fools Day - April 1st.

Earlier this week (not 1 April!), on Bargain Hunt, they showed an old galvanised steel cistern. Someone had cut its sides away just leaving legs. Inverted, it formed a table. Sploshed on a dollop of varnish to give it a shine and protect the manky oxidised zinc surface and it was ready for sale.

At £900 FFS!

Just think of all those cisterns you threw away...

I didn't need to cut the sides out, they'd rusted away.
It was a work of art, I was disappointed to only get £900, but I said tanks anyway.
