If it's like the new Vaillants then no, unless you connect it to a lap top installed with Vaillant software I believe. The new ones can have a service indicator input after the last fault attended to, but the fault list just keeps rolling on.
Im assuming you have a turbomax plus 282?

Perhaps its a second hand boiler that he wants to sell as new?

In Barbados its difficult to immagine why anyone would want central heating anyway. I am suspicious that he may not be genuine!
