revarnishing floors

sanded floorboards 2 and half years ago...varnished them 2 or 3 times.....now starting to dull a little..particualarly after a lot of dusty renovation in the house...can I clean the boards and varnish on top of the old varnish...I'd rather not have to sand them again.....or is there a commercial product I can use to strip and then revarnish......
