So do you want the judiciary to be politicised?

Because that is the result of electing judges!
Why shouldn't judges be elected, they are supposed to be servants of the people along with politicians.
Democracy is dead , when you have a millionaire foreigner with a British passport using her money to thwart the implementation of Brexit and a legal establishment which aids and abetts her then why bother voting.
 
The UK is a parliamentary democracy afaik this has been the case since Charles 1st was decapitated

Though Cromwell did take over parliament and kicked em. All out :LOL: but he was a dictater or used the title Lord protector same difference
 
Around 2 million old timers will have kicked the bucket if another referendum is held about 4 years after the last...

About 1.5 million youngsters will have become 18...



Add in a substantial number of new EU citizens getting dual nationality and you can see why quitters are running scared of another vote!

After a further 4 years the EU could be sinking so causing a significant number of Snow Flakes to want to Leave

Tribal voting means that any turd with a particular coloured rosette on it will get voted in, irrespective of their merits/suitability for the job...

You only have to look at how unsuccessful the 'elected' police and crime commissioners are to realise it's a stupid idea!

Seems to me you just don't like this particular result ;)
 
Q: Can our courts over rule the EU... As they have our Prime minister?
The EU court has jurisdiction over laws covered by European treaties which the UK has agreed to...

The UK supreme court has jurisdiction over UK national laws...
