right fudger make sure that the pump live is connected to PL
and Ls is connected to number 7 in the wiring centre
remember I told you to swap them out at the boiler end, check that you have not inadvertantly swapped them back at the wiring centre

if everything checks out ok and the boiler is still not working then open the valves manually, disconnect Ls from the boiler and put a link between Ls and Lp, switch on and make sure that the boiler is working

this will tell us if the boiler is at fault or if it is the external controls

Matt

use your multi meter at the boiler and make sure that you have
230V between Lp and neutral on standby
now turn on the hot water and/or CH make sure that the stats are calling
and check that there is
1) 230V between Lp and neutral
2) 230V between Ls and neutral
3) 230V between PL and neutral
there will be a short delay for step 2 and 3 while the valves open and make the internal microswitch

This is the layout on the junction box

I will try this next:
if everything checks out ok and the boiler is still not working then open the valves manually, disconnect Ls from the boiler and put a link between Ls and Lp, switch on and make sure that the boiler is working

this will tell us if the boiler is at fault or if it is the external controls

This is going to sound stupid.
How do I put it on standby?
and how do i turn the hot water on?

Checked the voltage and it's 246v between LP and N

Sorry

I don't have a Ps

as you look at the boiler I have Lp...Ls...N...E...E...PL...PN

soz I meant Ls

the boiler is on standby when there is no call for heat
you turn the hot water on by selecting hotwater on the programmer {time clock)

Do oyu still want me to do this??

I have taken a few more pic hope it helps.
