Hi Dingbat thanx for all that,I will do all the making good of the chases,but still am none the wiser how they will rewire the lights if they cannot get access to the flat above !! does this mean all ceilings down ,or can they chase areas out [iwould not of thought so!] I do plan to refurbe,but did not take into account new ceilings, lounge alone is 27ftx18 ,some big job..... :big money. The thought of spending a small fortune to replace all the ceilings is not within my budget. Still wondering am I doing the right thing with this flat.It will be a beautiful place revamped but I do have a working budget. Ta..?
