I certainly don't have a strong defence against that suggestion, but it seems that b-a-s has had a major sense of humour failure. Ho hum.
 
I replied to hermes' post, but he then removed it, which makes my post pointless. (And yes I know what you're all thinking there...).
 
I seem to recall that b-a-s has previously indicated that he has a job.

FYI, I'm self-employed.

So, splinter, in the interests of keeping it relevant, what do you think about the statement made by the dragster owner?

.................That he has made a statement to cover his own back,although he did not nessasary need to do so
