Hi guys, I've just installed this alarm in my new house, the electricians did all the connections, but it keeps saying battery fault...what battery is it talking about?
I would really appreciate some help here.
Also not 100% sure the connections are right, I will upload a picture so you can see, there are 2 cables on the left black and red which has not been used yet...

Well he was not supposed to install it, it just connected the electricity to it.
So what battery shall I put? And where? They don't explain anything about it on the manual...
What is the commission link? Sorry I'm very new to this

I found the installation instructions online, I think they mention a 12v 7AH battery. It is probably a SLA. But you had better check. I have always been very pleased with Varta but I am not an alarm person. You may end up needing an extra connector.

I see a battery-shaped space bottom right of the case.

12v 2.8 / 3.2 ah ( yuasa / power sonic ) will be fine as I assume there are no wired devices or bell ?
Have you got the following , Laptop , copy of lastest ' wintex' and a USB com lead ?

So is it not possible to set it without laptop and cable? I thought it would have been way more ready to go :(
I just need to pair 3 wireless pir and a contact for the patio door, nothing complicated

I've ordered the battery. So when I'll receive it I just need to connect the black and red cables and then the error about the battery will disappear right?

I've been fitting the premier since version 1 non elite 2003 ? Ish and it's a pain to program without a laptop , it can be done but not easy !
