ridge tiles where two or more meet

Hi how do we get that correct angle when fitting two or more ridge tiles i.e when a ridge meets the hip. thank you jymbo

i usually work on the premise tat each sid of the top ridge has 3inch to nothing off each side where it meets the hip and 3 inch off hips where they meet main roof and 6inch off the hip ridge on the hip side if that makes sense as you should try and use full ridges on a hip junction hope this helps sounds complecated but really isnt

I agree with Cumboroof and that the ridge should be the dominant element as opposed to the hips.
