Right to protest...

Unfortunately for British Jews they were dragged into this by one B Netanyahu , if you care to remember his words at the start of this he stated and I am paraphrasing him, any criticism of Israeli actions is antisemitic and is an attack on all Jews wherever they so be, so upset by this the Board of Deputies of British Jews warned that he was seeking to expand the Israeli conflict to all Jewish communities......Netanyhju has consistently and repeatedly made this out to be a religious war along with the equally disgusting coalition of fundamental Islamist states, who have done much the same thing. Been successful have they not...

The sad thing is in reality its just about land and the right to live on that land....instead we have a holy war being played out on our streets, and there was me thinking that both religions purported peace and mutual respect as a central theme, which they are until grubby politicians chose to play the religious card to keep and maintain power..... Thank God I am an atheist.

The protest against the killing of tens of thousands of people, including women, children and babies should not have gone ahead, because two men were killed, and some others were injured?

How about if we suggested Yom Kippur should be cancelled because genocide is being committed in Palestine by Israel?

Aren't you doing exactly the same that you accuse fillystine and motorbiking of doing: conflating Jews with Israel?

The protest was against the actions and policies of Israel, not against Jews.
It was also against the proscription of Palestine Action, which is also a movement against the actions and policies of Israel, not Jews.
if they had cancelled their protest it wouldve given them a big boost

you dont seem to understand its about optics.

Not even a couple of weeks Notch, just a one week delay out of respect to the dead.
I agree

even if not intentional, having the protest on that day was inflammatory

and it gave all the media an opportunity to add fuel to the fire

So the pro Palestinian protests can't be put on hold.
why not?

if the outcome they want is greater support for their cause, they should have cancelled

sometimes doing something different is a greater benefit

Yes we did, probably as well at an english school in the UK.
There was once a time when being able to accurately write in English or translate from one language to another was a valuable skill. Nowadays people use AI/free translators.

You would say that though being a woke lefty!
I am shocked at your silly suggestion.

Clearly you do not consider yourself to have any social awareness. Do you mean that you have no objection to ethnic genocide?

It seems like you dont...
