And if the police are notified of both? Which one do you deem the counter protest if both groups arrive at the same time?
The police exercise their power to apply restrictions.

A power they already have.

Which is not the same as 'I want to ban all counter protests', nor does it solve the issue of which group is the counter protest.

Are crowds of curious onlookers, i.e. people going about their daily lives, shopping and whatnot, that object to a protest and voice their opinions, 'counter protesters'?
Perhaps you or HWM could clarify?

They wouldn't allow it to go ahead and would give you a different date or a different location on the same date. OMG this is so difficult

The protest or the counter protest?

Are bewildered folk in the street voicing their opinion, counter protesters?
OMG the counter protest, forgive me for saying but are you grasping any of this?

I can see this is a bit too hard for you to get your head round.

I said that COUNTER protests in the same place at the same time does no good. Of course if you like agro and rioting and slinging insults rather putting your point accross then everything is fine. its a bit like you are on here, no point ever gets made.
Are any of the support for Palestine Action authorised and agreed by the police.
Or do they just go ahead without their agreement?

If they're not (and they're obviously not)
What would be the point in not allowing counter protests, because they'll happen anyway.

Or would it lead to a farcical situation that protesters are allowed to do so, but the counter protesters are arrested. :D

I'll wait....

So how do you deem which is the counter protest, if both groups arrive or are present (and protesting) at the same time?

why don't you toddle off and read up on the rules for holding a march and the lawful options plod have.
