Has anyone out there used these for plumbing? I need replacements for my adjustable spanner , footprints, and water pump pliers. which got nicked. there seems to be lots more products on the market these days like robogrips, viper grips, and nut grips that look ok, but are they any good ? or should I stick with what I know.

Thanks.

I've got a pair and although I've not used them for any heavy duty plumbing (ie trying to dismantle something ages old  ) they've been ok. They seem pretty well made although I'm not plumbing everyday.

I used them to get a flymo blade off as well and they can get gummed up with grass etc.
