roll Top bath waste

My new roll top bath has been supplied with a compression waste fitting. . not sure how to fit a trap to it as theyt are different connections ie a standard trap will not connect to the compression fitting.

use a short peice of pipe on the waste then a bend then a hepvo trap horizontally

just checking... the hepvo does have compression on both ends ?

No, but you can also purchase the adapter to convert to compression.
