Hi I just wonder if anyone has done a job similar to the one I've been given basically a roof has been tiled with double roman tiles but at the verge its slightly shy of the edge meaning everytime it rains it's running down the inside of the gable. The customer wants me to build a gable ladder and extend the roof by one tile then put fascia on and dry fix verge but is there a quicker easier way of doing this job without chopping bricks out and building gable ladder in situ? I know it's long winded. Thank you

Half a tile will do surly, a 4x2" screwed to the brickwork
A length of rough sawn 6x1" nailed to that.
Extend the batons across.
