Thanks for the feedback. It was the features that really attracted me to it. Very unique build.


Another feature is the dormers and porch have copper roofs.

Do you think the sarking felt will need to be replaced, roof off job?

If i have time i will get a roofer to look over it, but interested to know opinions.

There are millions of houses that have no felt at all so no I would not do that . It looks worse than it is because the paper/fibreglass is falling off. That doesn't mean the sarking felt has loads of holes- 2 different layers.

I'd definitely get a building survey done - and follow that up with an inspection by a reputable roofer?
