Hello,

Recently noticed some repairs are needed to the rendering which

is situated on the underside of my hipped roof.

I want to carry out the repairs myself as the areas are small but a

mate suggested the render could contain asbestos.

Does anyone know when asbestos was introduced into materials.

The house was built around 1900.
