Hi, I am totally confused on the purpose of these panels in the loft. We need to put some insulation on the other side of these panels but we are unable to do so since there is no real way to access that side.
Someone suggested us to cut these panels in the middle to create access but we are concerned that they could be supporting rafters and they may be part of the structure in supporting something i.e. roof weight.
have you ever come across such situation or example? are these panels there for a reason or can they be remoevd or cut in the middle to create access without creating any issue to the structure? please advise.
