peg tiles on my roof. I inherited 16 tiles when I bought the property. I understand that to replace a broken one you push up adjacent tiles and remove the broken one and replace with another that have nibs on to catch on the baton. My spare tiles have no such nibs but do have two holes for nails (see image). I can't see a way of hammering in nails. Are there clips you can buy that go into the holes and clip onto the baton?

No specific clips I know about, they had wooden pegs originally.
You can make them out of dowels or if you can't be bothered to make any you can hang them on with inch an half clout nails.

So simple. Why didn't I catch on to why Kent tiles were called Kent 'peg' tiles.
Many many thanks catlad and datarebal.
