Bought 100m roll of DuPont Tyvek timberframe wrap to sheet the OSB and now have plenty left over. Could I use it on the pitched roof? It's water resistant, breathable and can be left exposed for 4 months and with any luck I'll have tiles over it much sooner than that.

Can't see why not. The membrane ain't gonna know what it is wrapping.
