Room Thermostat Stuck on near Max

Hi,

The main thermostat for our heating(this one sits in the downstairs passage way), seems to think it's 30 degrees (which it isn't), and so the heating does not come on unless I push it past 30 degrees.

Any ideas what the problem is?

Theremostat is broke..They are not exact piece of electronics, if you set it to 33 & its ok for you..then stay with it..else replace it..cheap & easy to do
