Routine for installing new bathroom suite

Hi all,

I have totally stripped the bathroom now and jobs to do are:

Make platform for shower (so drainage pipes can be installed and hidden).
Tile walls
Tile floor
install appliances.

I know the platform issue will need to be resolved first but do not know what to do after. Do appliances normally go in before the tiles so the tiler will know how to cut around the pipework etc when installing tiles?
