Routing bullnose

Hi, I have a cutter like this in a 1000w 1/4 inch router. Should I round over 18mm MDF in one pass or several?

Consider doing a first pass with a plane, or something. Certainly that’s what I would do if it were solid wood; not so sure about MDF.

I normally use my 1/2" router with those kind of bits. I do a full pass and then a reverse pass to reduce any "chatter". But there is no harm in doing multiple passes if you prefer.

you need a smaller radius for 18mm or a flat off around 3-4mm for the bearing to run on meaning the arc will finish 1-2mm short off the faces now that will not be really noticeable but the flat will be
now if you set it up to exactly curve half when you flip it to do the other face the bearing is now on the curve you have just done meaning you will have perhaps a 0.25-0.5mm step on the edge because the cutter is now off line
