I know a Rowan Atkinson and a Rowan Williams. There is also a Rowan Pelling (journalist), but she is a woman.
Coincidentally, I have a four year old son and his name is Rowan.
The reason I was asking is because many people I talk to (when I mention Rowan's name) say "Isn't that a girl's name?"
Oh! it's a long way (to the end of) Llanfairpwiigwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwiiiiantysiliogogogoch. it's a long way to go.
