Hi,

Newbie here.

So Structural Engineer has recommended that I use 203x133x30 UB RSJ's that are 4.22m wide for support but I don't have cavity walls that they can sit on.

Is there anything else that I can use instead of a pillar, like Gallow Brackets that I can use to support the TSJ

What has the engineer stated for the bearings?

No pier has be specified, padstones go on the existing wall.

But gallows brackets may have been an option depending on the wall condition. Did you ask the engineer to consider brackets?
