Appologies for my last post, outbuilding costs and regs. Wasn't asking for quote or prices, it wasn't too clear, was asking if anyone knows the costs involved in notifying BC. Have found that info now anyway.

The main point was about running armoured cable...

from the house there is a 4 meter decking then the shed. At no point can I see a way of digging down 18inches under the decking. Is it acceptable for armoured cable to run along the outside of the house then down under the decking and into the shed? Or can someone offer suggestions on how to do it.

The decking covers the old access to the house which is all concrete and a few concrete steps hidden under there too... makes digging rather difficult lol.

you don't have to bury armoured cable you can get cable cleats for the armoured cable which you could use to secure the armoured cable to the underside of the deck
