Running cable with water and gas

Am i ok to run swa in the same trench as water and gas pipes, and if not were does it say not...

Yes, sounds ok. Dont see why not.

i don't know of any leccy regs that forbid it but there may well be gas regs that do so speak to the gas guys first.

The building regs would apply in this instance, my brother was told by a BCO that all services must be at least 300mm apart in all directions. Don't know which reg that is though!!

Internally gas pipes should be a minimum of 25mm from any electrical cable, 150mm from any outlet not sure about externally.
