i understand this needs to be done in plastic, but i have noticed my builder has put joins (speedfit) in areas that are to be screeded. Is this allowed, i thought the pipe work had to be ducted for removal if ever required?

Well it isn't a criminal offence, but it should be.
They need to be accessible, which means access panels. Hope he isn't screeding directly onto the plastic pipe - it needs room to move.

well yeah he is!!!. He even has joints on floor where we are screeding!!! should i use Speedfit Conduit Pipe . What happens when pipe comes out of floor, will it bend enough without having a joint. Id rather it in Speedfit Conduit Pipe that way i can pull it out if i ever need to. But why does UFH not need conduit?

Just check his other posts, interesting, or a s**t builder
What the F**k is that meant to mean!!!
I am having an extension done...FACT
A builder is building it FACT
I do some work myself FACT
Why pay someone to do what i can do!!
My builder loves speedfit for some reason, i don't. To me it's DIY i can do it.

 calm down....
u dont want any joints buried under screed. no compression and no speedfit.
if you intend to tile over etc its burried for good anyway. , depends on the length of the burial...but putting in a conduit will help

It looks like i will do this now as the builder is sure to do it the quickest way.
If i use conduit, will the barrier pipe bend enough coming out of the floor to rad, or is there a better way.

Obviously your builder nor yourself are competent with regards to plumbing yet you waste our time with your stupid questions.
Do what you like as long as building control pass it, you ain't got nothing to worry about or have you.

As for plastic joints buried in screed then it deff aint allowed

Then i'd suggest you stop replying if your time is so Precious. I like to learn and gain advise, wheras you like to contribute to posts that waste your time!

Do not cover the barrier pipe with screed unless it is conduit or similar

Hi, i won't. To be honest i thought building regs required it to be done this way. But why is UFH different? uses the same pipe and that only needs conduit between doors or across concrete joins and when coming out from the floor??

Just read thread about toilet and extractor fan.
Obviously **** poor architect/plans or no building regs

If you had regs you would know that your bathroom is notifiable. :?

 Diy,ers
