what would have happened had hitler not attacked Russia ?? he poured in over 2 million troops into russia, thousands of planes and tanks and other equipment .

Stalin and Hitler came to a deal and carved up poland between them selves . Russia went into Finland . Stalin wrongly assumed that the French would make a better fist of it , but the resistance collapsed. Stalin was shocked and gave the UK no hope hence his pact with the Germans.

Over 20 million ( they say) Russians lost there lives fighting the Germans ??? although plenty were killed by Stalins in-famous blocking units

He did not even agree to do an exchange for his own son who was captured by the Germans who offered to swap him for a high ranking German general

I agree with your point although the English channel made a big contribution to the defence of Britain, if the RAF hadn't won the air war it could have been a different story.
I think it was always Hitler's ambition to invade Russia and depose the Communists.

They now have Britain’s brains on board

As and Island we stood alone. The commonwealth countries are not Local.
Their land was not a defence. We were not fighting Japan at this point
Pear harbour was not until Early December 41.

The Americans never entered the war until 1942.
